CROSSING RAILWAY LINE From Our Own Correspondent WHANGAREI. Monday. In the Whangarei Magistrate’s Court before Mr. G. N. Morris. S.M., this morning, W. A. Parkin, bus driver, pleaded guilty to crossing the line when a train was approaching. Parkin said the train was five to six chains away. The enginedriver estimated the distance as two chains. Defendant was fined £5 and costs.
