BIRKENHEAD-NORTHCOTE ORPHANS
The sixth meeting of the Birkenhead and Northcote Orphans’ Club was held in the Parish Hall, Northcote, on Saturday evening. The Rev. F. W. Wilkes, vicar of St. John the Baptist Church, Northcote, and late vice-pre-sident of the Morrinsville Orphans’ Club, presided. The official visitors were the president and executive of the Onehunga Orphans’ Club. A splendid musical programme was presented. The club’s orchestra, under the baton of Bro. A. W.
