RACING CYCLISTS QUARREL IN TOUR DE FRANCE BOTH PAY FINES Reed. 10.45 a.m. PARIS, Sunday. Two of the cyclists who are competing in the Tour de France race, Pelissier and Guerra, on their arrival at Charlesville came to blows. Guerra claimed that Pelissier had interfered with his arrival and knocked over Pelissier. whereupon a fight ensued until the excited onlookers separated the contestants. Pelissier was fined 300 francs (about £2 10s) for swerving in from the course and Guerra was fined 500 francs for assaulting Pelissier. Le Ducci won the race, which was of 4,818 metres, in 172 hr 12min 22sec.
