MR. S. HOLLANDER, who refereed the game. also officiated in the first two Tests. He learned his football at the Christchurch Boys’ High School. After leaving school he joined up with the Old Boys’ Football Club, and later joined the ranks of the referees. Last year He controlled the North and South Island game, in which he gave general satisfaction.
