CAMPAIGN HAS FIVE MORE DAYS TO RUN

It was stated on Saturday that the last count of votes before the end , would be published today, but on account of numerous subscriptions being posted and not arriving until over the ; week-end. it is impossible for the Campaign Department to complete the count until today. This will be published in tomorrow's paper. This last j published count will show all qualified ; contestants. : No new contestants may enter the ; competition between now and the close. Contestants whose names have been dropped, however, may be rein-; stated when qualified, but no new names may appear In the final tally at the Civic Theatre. Promptly at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, the polls will close and The Sun's great campaign will be over. All contestants who are in the office at that hour will be waited on and their ballots placed in the ballot box. As soon as all have voted who wish, the box will be declared closed. If a contestant has been issued ballots and they have not been returned prior to 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon of August 2 they cannot be counted. All ballots which have been published I'J the paper have again been placed in the ballot box; a ballot representing the little 50-vote coupons clipped from the paper earlier in the campaign ha 3 also been placed in the ballot box. Only such ballots as are in the ballot box when it is presented to the judges will be taken into consideration. No mistakes will be rectified after four o'clock next Saturday. Contestants must see to it that everything is adjusted prior to that hour. DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE Contestants are warned not to wait until the last minute, as there is bound to be a big crowd in the office at the closing hour. Turn in vour votes as early as possible this week. Vnder no conditions will be campaign manager or campaign reresentative give any information as to the relative position of any contestant. The contestants will know no more about the standing of any other contestant at the last minute than they do now. Get your subscriptions in early, secure your votes and then go out and get a few more.
