INJURED BY TRAMS

TWO MEN KNOCKED DOWN As the result of being knocked down by a tramcar between the Town Hall and the Wellesley Street intersection at about six o’clock on Saturday evening. Mr. Thomas Turner, a seaman suffered injuries to his head. The St. John Ambulance took the injured man to the Auckland Hospital, and his con dition this morning was considered by -the hospital authorities to be satisfac tory. Another man, Mr. Thomas Hargreaves. of Mount Koskill, was knocked down by a tramcar on Saturday evening, receiving head injuries. After receiving medical treatment at the hospital, he was able to go home. This accident occurred in Queen Street, near the Customs Strdet intersection.
