SKIPPING SONG
Who wouldn't like To skip a roDe AJong the street Where the sidewalks slope, And people all Get out of the way To let you hoppetty-skip And play? Who wouldn’t like To skip a rope Along the beacli Where the wind, like soap, Suds the waves To a lather that goes In and out of jour Ten bare toes? Who wouldn’t like To skip the rope Of a new moon caught In a telescope. And hop over mountains And jump over trees And loop the loop Wherever you please?
