UNIFORM ORDER
One of the biggest tasks of cinema history was the costuming of the S,OOO players used in the huge battle scenes of “Captain of the Guard,” the Universal all-sound dramatic musical spectacle co-starring Laura La Plante and John Boles, which opens on Mon day at the Crystal Palace Theatre. Not only had all the players to be fitted with uniforms or peasant cos tumes, but each had to be supplied with a wig as well.
