MOUNT EDEN WEDDING

BRIDE IN WHITE SATIN WALLEY—VERCOE On Wednesday a very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Barnabas’s Church, Mount Eden, by the Rev. Mr. Banford, when Bertha Georgina, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Vercoe, of Te Pua, Helensville, was married to Herbert Victor David, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. Dailey, of Waipu. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white satin

beaute, with uneven hemline, draped, with folds of tho material and handsomely embroidered with pearls. A beautifully-embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms and pearls, and she carried a shower bouquet of white blooms and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by her cousin. Miss Ada Vercoe, as bridesmaid, who wore a pretty frock of powder blue georgette, with tiny pleated frills, and a hat of beige felt with blue trimmings. She carried « shower bouquet of blue and gold flowers. Mr. D. Vercoe, brother of the bride, acted as best man. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Mount Eden Kiosk, where the bride’s mother received her guests wearing a black silk bengaline frock relieved with beige, and a velvet hat to tone. The bridegrooms’ sister-in-law, Mrs. A. Dailey, wore a fawn jersey cloth ensemble suit with hat to tone.
