COSTUME PARTY AT TE MAWHAI
SCHOOL COMMITTEE ARRANGES EVENING A large attendance was present a< the fancy dress ball arranged by the Te Alawhai School Committee on 'Wednesday evening. The music was provided by Mr. G. Dalton and party. The judges, Airs. Young and Air. and Mrs. W. Melville, awarded the prizes as follow:—Alost original, womer. Aliss Ma-ckenzie (Baby Girl); men, Air Rogers (The Village Squire). Prettiest costumes, women, Miss Rogers (Eastern Princess); men, Air. Wye (Harem Lady). Those in costume were:—Airs. Unwin, Gipsy; Jean Rogers. Eastern Princess; Airs.
