“fc'o Long, Betty,“ tho Warner Bi os, production which heads tho current programme at the Majestic Theatre, is a farcical comedy of adventures and misadventures in a fashionable hotel. The picture includes in its cast a selection of many of the best-known vaudeville stars in America, including Charlotte Greenwood. Grant Withers, Patsy Ruth Miller and Bert Roach. The story opens when an eccentric millionaire brings Ills two granddaughters, typical modern young American girls, to a fashionable beach hotel. The girls are expecting to have a gay time, but their grandfather lias other ideas about the best way to spend a holiday. A comedy of errors ensues when he becomes confused between his grand-daughters' husbands. a feature or the mm Is the bright and unusual dancing of Charlotte Greenwood, the principal, who first gained prominence, by her comedy dances. Miss Greenwood has played her role In the picture for many years on the legitimate stage. Claude Glllingwater, who plays the important part of the millionaire grandfather, originally left the stage for the moving pictures' to take the part of the old lord in '‘Little Lord Fauntleroy.” The Majestic’s supporting programme includes a number of enjoyable talking apd singing featurettes.
