WOMEN’S HOCKEY

TEAM FOR INVERCARGILL Delegates from the Rangitaiki, Waikato. Waihi and Waipa sub-associa-tions were present at a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Ladies* Hockey Association. Miss P. H. Dawson presided. The Kiwi Club was given permission to arrange a game with a Collegiate team next Saturday. The secretary stated that it had been decided not to send an Auckland provincial team to the Invercargill tourney because of the association’s inability to find sufficient suitable players able to make the trip However, there was no objection to a team front the local collegiate section being sent, an! arrangements were being made for a team from this section to go to Invercargill.
