The Rev. IT. K. Vickery, chaplain to the Seamen’s Mission, will conduct the morning service at St. Mary’s, Parnell. In the evening Canon Fancourt will speak on “A Religious Man.’’ * * « The morning service at St. Matthew’s, Wellesley Street, will be conducted by the Rev. C. G. Cruickshank. Canon Grant Cowen will conduct the evening service. * * The 89th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of St. Paul’s Church. Symonds Street, will be celebrated tomorrow by special commemorative services. The preachers will be Canon Fancourt and the Rev. J. Eccleston. # * * “What is God Like?’* will be the Rev. Albert V. Whiting’s subject at a broadcast service in the Beresford Street Congregational Church tomorrow evening. A church meeting will be held on Monday to give the congregation an opportunity to meet the Rev. Mr. Whiting. * * * Morning and evening services will be conducted at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Devonport, with a song service at 6.45 p.m. * * * The Rev. W. Mawson, secretary of the Presbyterian Foreign Missions, will preach at the morning service of the Balmoral Church. * * * “The Great Test,” will be the Rev. T. X. Cuttle’s subject at the evening service in the Somervell Presbyterian Church, Remuera. c * * The Rev E. T. Olds will conduct the morning service at the Methodist Cehtral Mission, Airedale Street. At France Street an evangelistic service will be Mr. W. S. Yearsley will speak at the

Christadelphians’ service in the Freemasons’ Hall. Belgium Street. “Truth” will be the subject at the services in the First Church of Christ, Scientist. ♦ * * At the Christian Spiritualist Church. Mackelvie Street, tomorrow evening, M Mr. Fitton will speak on “Occult Vibrations.” « * * The series of Unity Hall addresses will be continued tomorrow afternoon, when Mr. 11. Tolland will give a special prophetic lecture on “Prophecy, a Preparation for Christ.” * « • “The Human Double: The Scientiric Ghost and the Human Aura.” will be Mr. M. Walker’s subject at the evening service of the Auckland Higher Thought Centre. « * * The annual thanksgiving service will be held in the Grange Road Baptist Church, Mr. Innes giving a special address. # * • Revival fire services will be held in the Covenant Hall, Wellesley Street West. 6 « « Mr. R. T. Reid will speak on “Some Parables’* at the International Bible Students’ meeting in the Masonic Hall. • * • A men’s meeting will be held in the Y.M.C.A. Mr. T. Martin will speak. e * • The Rev. George Frost is the preacher at St. John’s Church, Ponsonby Road, the subjects being “Robust Christians” and “The Gospel of the Redeeming Opportunity.” • * * The Rev. Raymond Preston, a wellknown English and Australian preacher, will conduct the services in the Pitt Street Methodist Church. The Mayor and councillors of Auckland will officially attend the morning service. At three o'clock Mr. Preston will talk to sportsmen on the great athletes of the world.
