TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Tauranga Borough Council met ° n Wednesday, the Mayor, Mr. B. C. Robbins, presiding. The Railway Commission wrote suggesting that the Paeroa and Taneatua districts should combine on the quesof giving evidence before the Commission at Auckland. The council agreed to act upon the suggestion and the Mayor was appointed to co-operate Mth other public bodies. It was stated that the new electricity building was being pushed forward, a scheme of lighting was adopted. The borough foreman’s position being it was decided to call for apP'lcations under new conditions.
