TRAGIC MISTAKE
WOMAN DIES IN HOSPITAL POISON INSTEAD OF MEDICINE • Press Association GISBORNE. Thursday. Suffering from what was believed to be the effects of poisoning, Mrs. Christina Sutherland McMahon, aged 31 years, wife of Mr. Francis Leonard McMahon, was taken to the Cook Hospital this afternoon, where she died shortly after admission. It is understood that she mistook a bottle of rat poison for medicine.
