PLAZA
‘THE ARIZONA KID” The current picture at the Plaza Theatre, “The Arizona Kid,” which deals with the glamorous days in the old South-west before the coming of the railroads, surpasses Warner Baxter’s previous Western audible pictures, “In Old Arizona” and “Romance of Rio Grande,” and again portrays him as a gallant, reckless bandit whose exploits and love affairs form the basis of the exciting plot. Mona Maris is again in the role of Baxter’s leading lady and gives a remai'kable performance in a spirited part. Carol Lombard and Mrs. Jiminez have other leading parts, while Theodor Von Eltz, Sidney Bracy and other favourites are in the supporting cast. Excellent supports are also being shown.
