HYMESTRASON, TRENTHAM WINNER MISTER GAMP TOO The two Grand National candidates, Mister Gamp (H. Gordon) and Hymestrason (J. McDowell), engaged in the big Hurdles and Steeplechase respectively next month, had Robbie’s Mistake (Metcalf) as a companion in a gallop over seven furlongs on the course proper at Awapuni yesterday morning. The trio were together as they crossed the top. but Mister Gamp, wlio had much the worst of the weights, drifted slightly in the run down the straight. The last six' furlongs took 1.25. Hymestrason is looking a picture at present, while Mister Gamp has thrown off his soreness and is once again revelling in his work. He was quite anxious to go on with it yesterday morning, telegraphs The Sun’s Palmerston North correspondent.
