MANAWATU MOUNTS

AUCKLAND JOCKEYS FOR AWAPUNI , The Manawatu Racing Club's meeting scheduled for Thursday and Saturday of next week makes it possible for jockeys to ride at Awapuni on the first day and then be present at Riccarton for the Christchurch Hunt meeting two days following. This is the intention of jockeys H. Dulieu and H. Wiggins, who subsequently will motor through to Wellington. Son o’ Mine, on which H. Dulieu won the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Cup Steeplechase, will again have the services of this horseman at Awapuni, and Wiggins will have the handling of Tar Baby. To date H. Dulieu has only the ride on Mangani at the Christchurch Hunt. He will also be on this horse in the Grand National meeting.
