STREET LOITERER
REMAND FOR A WEEK Said to be a loiterer around hotels and addicted to drinking methylated spirits, Francis Gibson, a millwright, aged 3S. was remanded for a week at the Police Court today on a charge of being idle and disorderly, having insufficient lawful means of support. He had been under police observation for some time, according to police evidence, and associated with cor. victed thieves. He drank methylated spirits. Gibson: It was beer I drank and not methylated spirits. I have a job to go to. Staff-Captain Holmes said Gibson needed a clean-up but he had been working lately. “Remanded until August 1.” sa'd Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.
