POLICE REINSTATEMENT
SERGEANT bonisch to lose SENIORITY WILL RETAIN RANK Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Although Senior-Sergeant Bonisch, of Wellington, has been duly reinstated, the Minister of Justice, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, holding that the penalty of dismissal was too severe for the breaches of the regulations which were committed, some form of punishment had to be imposed. This, it is understood, will take the form of the loss of a certain amount of seniority. The senior-sergeant’s actual rank, however, will not be affected by this penalty.
