BIRKENHEAD FOOTPATHS
COUNCIL SEEKS LOAN A special meeting of the Birkenhead Borough Council was held last evening, and it was decided to apply to the Government immediately for a loan for the relief of unemployment—the money to be used in forming footpaths throughout the borough.
