COMMITTEE MEETS The Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union, which met last evening, granted the Marist Club per- } mission to send a team to Thames on August 9, the date of the Auckland v. Taranaki game in Auckland. J. E. Coster was recommended to the New Zealand Rugby Union for reinstatement and was graded third grade open. The New Zealand Union notified that A. V. Ryan’s reinstatement had been approved. A vote of sympathy was passed with Mr. E. Casey in regard to the death of his mother. SATURDAY’S FIXTURES Following are the fixtures for Saturday:— Britain v.
