ST. MATTHEW’S SOCIAL

A successful social and dance organised by the St. Matthew’s Church Choir was held last evening. The function is the first of a series of similar entertainments. Among the items on the programme were violin solos by Miss Beryl Debenham, pianoforte selections by Miss Doris Cowen, and vocal contributions by Messrs. Bieleski, Farrow and Baxter. Mrs. Bieleski and Mr. Black enacted a humorous sketch entitled ‘Question.” The organist and choirmaster. Mr. .1. IT. Pliillpot. accompanied the solo item*. _
