ROBINSON ICE CREAM MERGER
Owing to insufficient notice having been given, the meeting of shareholders In the Kobinson ice Cream Company, held yesterday, to consider proposals for the merger with the New Polar Ice Cream Company, Limited, was declared informal. A large number of shareholders was present. Mr. W. M. Neumegen, chairman of directors, who presided, said the meeting could not be held legally as only six days' notice had been given instead of seven. After an informal discussion consideration was adjourned on the understanding that the directors would furnish full details of the proposals by circular and call another meeting at a later date.
