Here’s a simple idea for the handyman husband who takes pleasure in carrying out cunning little ideas about the house. With some odd pieces of wood, neatly planed to the right dimensions, divide off the cutlery drawer into sections. Make a division for each type of cutlery—one for the knives, one for the forks, and so on. The whole can be given a protective lining of chamois or baize or felt. In this way the exact contents of the drawer can be seen at a glance, and besides doing away w'ith cumbersome baskets, it makes it unnecessary to go searching among the fish-forks for a lost teaspoon.
