MOTORIST SENT FOR TRIAL
SEQUEL TO FATALITY Press Association PALMERSTON N. t Today. Arising from a fatal accident, which occurred on Mount Stewart on April 12, when a motor-cyclist, Alfred Hickey, was seriously injured and died in hospital. John Joseph Evans, a labourer, of Rongotea, was charged in the Police Court today with driving a motor-car recklessly or negligently and thereby causing death. Accused was committed for trial at the next session of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North.
