The Prime Minister, Mr. MacDonald, today sent the Belgian Prime Minister. M. Henri Jaspar, a telegram, ex pressing friendly goodwill on behalf of the British Government and the people of Britain, who, he said, had shared Belgium’s sorrows and wished also to share iD her joys. Mr. Mac Donald said he was confident that he interpreted the feelings of all classes of the British public when he begged M. Jaspar to accept their hearties? good wishes for the continued happiness and prosperity of his great country.
