AUXILIARY POWER

HUNTLY PROPOSAL PLANT FROM WAIKINO From Our Own Correspondent HUNTLY, Today. In addition to the steam generating electricity plant to be erected at Huntly, it Is now practically certain that ah auxiliary supply plant of 15,000 kilowatts will be erected in Huntly from the machinery of the Waihl Gold Mining Company, at Waikino. The foundations of a site have been tested for the last two days by Messrs, McLennan and Ellis and the tests have proved eminently satisfactory and though no official confirmation Is forthcoming there Is every reason to believe that the site, alongside the present station in Huntly, will be utilised.
