YOUTH GIVEN A CHANCE “He posed as a member of a wellknown brewer’s family,” said ChiefDetective Hammond in describing Norman Charles Speight, alias Norman Nesbit, a clerk, aged 19, who came up for sentence at the Police Court today. Speight was charged with being an idle and disorderly person, without visible means of support. “He was before the court a month ago,” said the chief-detective. “Though he went up to the University and represented that he was one of the Speights of the brewery firm, his real name is Nesbit. He is nn” r in work and seems to be doing well.” Accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
