WORK ON THE MT. EDEN TRAM EXTENSION has now been in progress for about three weeks. The extension will run from the present terminus at Pencarrow Avenue to Rewa Road, and thence to Mt. Roskill, providing a carriage-way is built to there. The extension will be about three-quarters of a mile long and is expected to be finished in October.
