SCOUT FLAG FROM LONDON CENOTAPH.—The large flag at the back of the group of Scouts was taken from the London Cenotaph after Armistice Day, 1928, and given to the New Zealand Scouts who attended the big jamboree in England. It was misplaced for some time, turning up again recently. The other flags in the picture were taken to the jamboree by the New Zealand party, one of the scoutmasters in which was the Rev. J. Rich, Acting Metropolitan Commissioner (second from left, front row).
