LINDBERGH

T INDBERGH is a young, im - proving pacer who can confidently be expected to pay his way again next season. When he contested the Midsummer Handicap, in February, he put up a performance of rare merit after losing several seconds at the start and being narrowly bsatsn into third place to the tune of 4.26 3-5. His two-mile handicap is 4.30, which spells early service. Lindbergh is inbred to Harold Dillon, his sirs. Author Dillon, being by the American stallion who also sired Antoqio, the sire of Lindbergh's dam. This may have something to do with his erratic behaviour, but at the same time it has produced a pacer of unusual brilliance.
