BRIGHT CONCERT

ENTERTAINMENT AT WAIAU PA At the Waiau Pa Hall on Friday evening, the local pierrot company presented its first concert. The orchestra, comprising Aliss Schofield, Air. Chandler, Mr. Fitzpatrick and Mr. Butters, played several numbers, and the pierrot troupe, Miss E. Clark, Miss C. Clark, Aliss L. Clark, Aliss B. Neill, Aliss V. Alilne, Aliss AI. Suter, Air. J. Hastie, Mr. T. Hastie, Mr. R. Milne and Air. E. Butters, contributed a pleasant and varied programme. Mr. Buden played banjo solos, while Aliss Konaki, Mr. J. Konaki and Air. G. Wetere gave Maori songs. The play; “The Alan in the Bowler Hat.” created much amusement. Community singing concluded the programme.
