RAILWAYMAN KILLED Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. When crossing the railway line near Linwood station on the evening of June 27, William Henry Irwin. an enginedriver, aged 40. was struck by an electric train and killed. At the inquest today, evidence was given that there was no thoroughfare across the tracks at the point where he was struck.
