NATIONAL
“SLEEPING PARTNERS” A delightful all-talking farce comedy of innocent marital complications is at th© National Theatre In "Sleping Partners,” adapted from Sacha Guitry’s highly successful music hall sketch by Seymour Hicks, who plays the part of the suave philanderer In the film every bit* as brilliantly as ho did on the stage. Mr. Ilicks, who also directed the picture, has excellent support. Edna Best looks beautiful and acts superbly as the young wife with whom the philanderer falls in love;—it is her first talking picture and sho reveals a fascinating film personality—while Lyn Harding contributes an extremely clever character study as the lady’s bearded and backsliding husband. A second attraction is shown on th© same programme in "Half Marriage," a tale of thrills and heart throbs, love and laughter, youth and romance, with Olivo Borden in the leading role.
