Sun’s Popularity Campaign
FOUR DAYS LEFT TO GET BONUS VOTES
Nominations Close Saturday
PRIZE CAR PARADE IN HAMILTON TODAY
With but four days remaining in the final Bonus Period of The Sun’s great popularity competition, the many contestants are exerting themselves to the utmost in order to win one of the prizes offered. During this week, and until Saturday, the last special bonus offer of the competition will remaiD in effect. Until that time 100,000 extra votes will be allowed on each total of £lO subscription money turned in by a contestant.
The race has been fairly and evenly fought from start to finish, and because of the fact that the competition is such a close race, it well behoves those who desire to come out victorious to strain every effort, because now we are on the home stretch. Many a race is won by the last spurt on the home stretch!
Suppositions as to who the winner will be are heard everywhere these days, but nobody knows who the winner will be. The Sun doesn't know, and the campaign manager does not know. Every day the leader changes.
Make this your banner week for your final spurt in order that you may go over the top victorious. PARADE IN HAMILTON A parade of prize cars is being staged in Hamilton today. The five grand prizes in The Sun’s competition—Buick, Marquette, Pontiac and Chevrolet motor-cars are being exhibited to the various contestants and to the public. Through the co-opera-tion of Whitford Erson Motors, Buick and Marquette dealers, and Ebbett Motors. Chevrolet and Pontiac dealers for Hamilton, this exhibition is being made. The parade started this morning at 11 o'clock from Ebbett Motors, and proceeded through the main business section of Hamilton. The cars were attractively decorated, and the contestants of Hamilton rode in the prize cars. As the cars wound their way in and out of the business section they attracted much attention, and this afternoon they will proceed to Huntly where another exhibition will be held. Another demonstration of The Sun’s prize cars will be made in Hamilton tomorrow. Mr. D. Paterson, campaign representative, is in Hamilton today and tomorrow to assist in the demonstration.
