NATIONAL MEETING
THE BIG TREBLE FINAL PAYMENT ON AUGUST 7 The final payments for the Grand National Steeplechase, Winter Cup and Grand National Hurdles, are not due for over a fortnight, on August 7. when acceptances for all other first day events also close. Handicaps for .the minor races on the first day of the Grand National meeting are due to make their appearance on August 4. This will enable the handicapper, Mr. J. E. Henrys, to see the form .disclosed the first day of the Manawatu meeting, and also at the Christchurch Hunt Club’s gathering, before isstiing his adjustments.
