OTOKIA LEAVES SAN PEDRO. — Cabled news lias been received by the Union Company that the motor-tanker Otokia cleared San Pedro on Wednesday last with a cargo of fuel-oil for Wellington. She is due there on August 10. COLUMBIA DUE FRlDAY.—Messrs. Russell and Somers advise that the Danish motor-ship Columbia. now at Napier discharging jarrah sleepers from Bunbury, is expected to arrive at Auckland on Friday to complete unloading. ZEALANDIC REPLACE MAHIA.—The Shaw, Savill Company advises that the motor-ship Zealandic is now scheduled to leave Liverpool on August 2 with ca?OD for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, in place of the Mahia. She Is due at Auckland on September 4. HUNTINGDON LEAVES CARACAS BAY.—Cabled advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Federal steamer Huntingdon cleared Caracas Bay on July 15. She left Auckland on June IS for New York, Halifax and London. THE CITY OF KHARTOUM.-Tho Ellerman and Bucknall steamer City of Khartoum is scheduled to arrive from New York on Wednesday. The vessel lias a general merchandise cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, Dunedin and Sydney. She is running under the auspices of the A. and A. Line and the New Zealand Shipping Company is the local agent. THE GOLDEN WEST.—The O. and O. steamer Golden West, now at Dunedin discharging the last of her Pacific Coast cargo, is to leave there tomorrow for Gisborne to load a quantity of refrigerated cargo for her return trip. She should arrive at Gisborne on Thursday evening and is to sail the following day for San Francisco via Honolulu, where she will call to take in a consignment of sugar. Her local agent is Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd. PAKIPAKI DUE WEDNESDAY.—According to her radio advice the Federal steamer Pakipaki is due in port from Liverpool p.m. on Wednesday. The vessel is lncTen with a cargo of general merchandise from West Coast ports of the United Kingdom, the local portion of which will be discharged to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. No berth had been assigned to the vessel this morning. She later sails for Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru to complete unloading. THE HIKURANGI.—'The steamer Hikurangi, owned by James Smith and Co., arrived, from Norfolk Island last evening and berthed at King's Wharf. The vessel, which left Auckland on July 11, experienced some rough weather and was delayed by heavy seas. The vessel arrived at Norfolk Island last Tuesday morning and sailed again on Thursday afternoon. She took about SO tons of general cargo to the island anti returned with 6.00 cases of oranges and a small quantity of potatoes. Her future movements liave not been decided.

Early on Saturday morning the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangitane was dispatched from Wellington for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal, taking passengers, mails and cargo. lONIC LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON.— Cabled advice states that the Shaw. Savill and Albion liner lonic was dispatched from Southampton for Auckland on Friday. The vessel has passengers and mail for New’ Zealand and general merchandise for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on August 25. WAIPAHI SAILS WEDNESDAY. —The T'nion Steam Ship Company advises that its Island fruit steamer Waipahi is t*> sail at noon on Wednesday for the Cook Islands. The vessel will take a quantity of general cargo and stores for discharge there, and she will load another cargo of fruit for discharge in New’ Zealand. Her ports of call in order will be Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Aitu and Mauke. REMUERA AT SUVA.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera reached Suva from London and Southampton yesterday. After unloading a quantity -of cargo for Fiji the vessel will proceed to Wellington to land passengers and -mail for New Zealand. The remainder of the cargo is for discharge at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and New* Plymouth. THE PORT BOWEN.—The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen is scheduled to arrive from Liverpool on July 27 with general merchandise fro a West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Ly. tel ton and Dunedin. Heather Roberton. Limited, is the local agent. The vessel is carrying the following passengers for New Zealand:—Mrs. L. .T. Thomas and child, Mrs. Broughton. Mr. and Mrs. Lysnar. Dr. E. C. Buffett is acting as ship's surgeon for the round trip. THE WAIHEMO.—Having completed unloading her cargo from the Pacific Coast, the Union Company's trans-Pacifi-ca rgo steamer Waihemo cleared New Plymouth at 11.45 a.m. on Saturday for Westport, where she will take in bunker.-. From the coal port she is to come on to Auckland. She is scheduled to leave Westport at 7.50 a.m. on Wednesday and should reach this port early on Saturday morning. On arrival here she will Pay off and lay up until required to sail again for the Pacific Coast to load for New Zealand.
