BOUQUETS AND APPLAUSE
LAST OF “SO THIS IS LOVE” After a most successful season, the curtain fell on the amusing comedy, “So This is Love,” at His Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday evening. The large attendance, swelled by many who were in town for the football match, applauded the performers with enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the show many beautiful bouquets were handed to the female performers, and Mr. Eric Edgley and Mr. Clem Dawe stepped to the front of the stage and thanked Auckland audiences for their appreciation during the week. Mr. Edgley said it was gratifying to see that the public still wanted flesh and blood shows. He announced that the company would return shortly with two new plays.
