RIALTO, NEWMARKET

The popular players, Charles Farrell and Janet Gaynor, are cast in the leading role of “High Society Blues/* at the Rialto Theatre. Lucien Littlefield is cast as Eli Granger, who, after selling his chain of stores for 3,000,000 dollars, seeks to gain admission into New York society. Charless Farrell, who plays the part of his son, falls in love with Janet Gaynor, the daughter of the Granger’s socially superior neighbours. She, however, is engaged to a Count Prunier, for whom she does not care. The means taken to eliminate the count and at the same time to overcome the social antagonism of the two families are replete with humorous complications. Several songs aro included in the production. William Collier, Louise Fazenda, Joyce Compton and Hedda Hooper appear in the supporting cast.
