WHOLE-MILK PRODUCERS
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Auckland Whole-Milk Producers’ Association, at its annual meeting last week, presided over by Mr. W. W. Massey, elected the following officers for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. W. W. Massey; vice-presi-dent, Mrs. G. F. Williams; committee, Messrs. G. Welch, A. C. Trousdale. W. H. Madill, A. E. Dewar. H. C. Bull, L. Arnoldson, G. Cox. A. Atkinson. A. J. Grove and E. Hill: secretary, Mr. H. H. Jackson; auditor, Messrs. Gorrie and Biss. The annual report stated that the year had not been successful on account of the fall in prices. MAIZE FOR MEXICO CAPETOWN, Saturday. Four ships are being loaded at Capetown with 20,000 tons of maize for Mexico. This inspires the hopes that the season will be moro prosperous than was expected. ORURU-FAIRBURN DAIRY CO. A total of 386 tons of butter was put through by the Oruru - Fairburn Cooperative Dairy Factory Co., Ltd., during the season just closed, this representing an increase of 61 tons on the output of the previous year. The average advance a pound was 14.2 d for finest grade.
