SHAMROCK V. WILL CROSS ATLANTIC SOON BID FOR AMERICA’S CUP British Official Wireless RUGBY, Thursday. Sir Thomas Lipton’s yacht, Shamrock V., challenger for the America’s Cup, will leave Portsmouth on Saturday under her own canvas to cross the Atlantic. She will be escorted by Sir Thomas’s steam yacht Erin. Shamrock V. will proceed to New York, where she is expected about August 20, after calling at the Azores.
