r PHE active control of the Gau mont-British Picture Corpora tion and all its allied companies has passed into the hands of the Fox Film Corporation. This means that ihe chain of theatres throughout the United Kingdom, including not only nearly 300 cinemas, but also music halls, like the Palladium in London, which belong to the Gaumont-British Company and its allies, will now be operated from New York.
