BRITISH TEAM ARRIVING
RECEPTION THIS AFTERNOON The British team will arrive at Auckland by the Rotorua express at four o’clock this afternoon and will stay at the Royal Hotel. A reception will be accorded the team at the station, at which the Mayor, Mr. George Baildon, the president of the Auckland Rugby Union, Mr. J. Arneil, and Sir James Gunson, one of the vice-presidents, will speak. Members of the team have been invited by Mr. Clem Dawe to attend the performance at His Majesty’s Theatre this evening and tomorrow evening will be entertained at a cabaret party at the Civic Winter Garden after the official dinner. On Monday morning tii© visitors will leave for Rotorua to icst for the test match, returning to gAjokiand on Thursday
