At the meeting of the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce Sir Apirana Ngata wrote promising to visit the district at an early date to look into native affairs. A committee, was set up to investigate the possibilities of establishing new industries. The County Council is to be asked to .consider the question of raising a loan for making further improvements to the Kaimai Road.
