DECISION ON POINTS FIGHT AT STRATFORD Press Association STRATFORD. Today. At the end of the scheduled 13 rounds of a professional bout at the Towa Hall last evening. Tommy Donovan (Waitara), »*t. grot the verdict on points against Sammy Shack (America), 9st lib. Donovan piled on point# by aggressiveness and continuous fighting. He did all the leading and supplied most of the in-fighting. Shack ws* often hemmed on the ropes but took all that was coming to him. He did little fighting at close quarters. He made some good connections with straights and swings, but not •Rough to turn the points in his favour. On the whole there was plenty of action. Shack used evasive tactics to advantage, but there were‘many bright spots. Shack showed he carried a good right, fully charged. which Donovan narrowly missed stopping on occasions.
