TAUMARUNUI GRANTS REBATE From Our Own Corrcsnoudcnt TAUMARUNUI, Wednesday. The Taumarunui Hospital Board has resolved to grant a cash rebate of Is a day off all patients' fees paid within 30 days after the patient leaves the hospital. A rebate of sixpence a day will be made off children’s accounts. The new tariff will not apply to members of the united friendly societies, the Ohura Medical Association, or maternity cases, and is to be reviewed at the end of six months. It will operate from August 1, and is expected to induce greater promptness in settling accounts.
