MORRUISVILLE NOTES
Just over 1,000 motor drivers’ licences have been issued by the town clerk of Alorrinsville and about 700 motor vehicles have been registered at the Alorrinsville post office since May 1. This gives an idea of the large number of motorists and motor-cars in the Alorrinsville district. * * * Air. R- C. Saxon, of Kurunui, is at present an inmate of a private hospital in Morrinsville suffering from pneumonia. * * *
Air. "W. R. Lowry has sold 110 acres of his property adjoining the Kiwitahi cheese factory to Air. R A. Ballantyne, of Auckland, who intends to build a house and sheds shortly, but will not commence milking for another year. Air. Lowry still retains about two-thirds of liis original property.
