The cost would be £260. the local committee to find one-third. In connection with a proposed new water supply for the Taumarunui borough, Mr. J. Boyd, medical officer of health, Auckland, has advised the borough council that the pathological examinatin of the Wanganui River water is satisfactory, combined with modern treatment.
