TRAINING SUSPENDED
MINISTER’S STATEMENT IN THE HOUSE THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, Wednesday. An announcement that for the present military training was suspended except in regard to school cadet corps was made in the House of Representatives this afternoon by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. Cobbe in answer to a question by Mr. J. A. Nash (Reform —Palmerston). Mr. Nash asked whether it was true that the Government had already issued instructions that compulsory military training should cease except for the school cadets. I£ that were so. would the Minister take the House into his confidence and mane a statem Ur. Cobbe replied that compulsory training had ceased for the present as stated, and that full details would be given in due cours©. _
